Measuring Baby Furniture

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

I was looking for furniture for my new baby, when I realized that there are a number of things that I needed to do well before hand. First, I needed to measure the space that I wanted to fill. That was just a given. I mean, you do that sort of thing with any space that you want to furnish. But on top of that, with baby furniture, what you really want to do is measure the people that will be working with the baby, such as yourself and your spouse. What we mean here is that you’ve got to measure your heights, your arm lengths. You might be considering a crib, and thought a nice big crib might seem and look luxurious, it might not be the most practical thing for you and your spouse. Your own personal dimensions will need to be considered and factored into the equation of what you will actually purchase.
