Janome Sewing Machines Offer Precision Stitching

There are lots of things to admire about Janome sewing machines but the number one reason they’re so well liked by experienced seamstresses is the precision stitching that comes with each machine.

Every sewing machine is built to take a top thread and a bottom thread and to loop them through fabric in such a way that the fabric is joined together. While that’s a very basic description, the engineering that goes into making a machine do that is actually quite complex.

Janome machines are designed to make the thread move as effortlessly as possible from the top spool down through the tension slots, through the needle and then into the fabric. Every feature is geared towards making that happen without letting thread jam up along the way.

Where Can You Have Canvas Photos Made?

Last weekend I was over at a client’s house to have him sign some papers for my boss. I was really astonished at how lovely their home was on the inside, it looked rather ordinary from out on the street. It was one of those old homes like they have in the quaint old villages, with the timber frames surrounded the white stucco looking stuff. I forgot what you call that. They had a lot of nice paintings, but also a couple of photographs with canvas prints. I mean a photograph printed on canvas. They were surprised that I had never seen one, but these were very large and impressive. The one to the right of the mantle was a family portrait about a meter wide. I am going to find out if I can have the same thing done for some of my photos. If it is not too difficult I shall have a few made.
